Partridge farming conditions

Many people now farm partridges, mainly due to the change in everyone's consumption concepts, which has led to a gradual decline in many wild special rare birds, so many emerging special farming industries have risen. Of course, this has also driven the development of a new economy, so what conditions are needed for partridge farming? Does everyone understand them all? Follow the editor below to read the content of the following text.

1. Temperature

Temperature regulation during partridge farming is very important, especially during the brooding stage of partridges, when it is even stricter, as it directly affects the level of the brooding survival rate of partridges. From newly hatched partridges until the age of fourteen days, the temperature in the farming room should be between thirty and thirty-five degrees. For partridges from twenty days to thirty-five days of age, the temperature should be around twenty-five to twenty-eight degrees. After partridges reach forty-two days of age, gradually return to room temperature, but the temperature must not be lower than twenty-four degrees.

2. Humidity

Humidity in the farm also affects the growth of partridges. If the humidity in the farm is too high, it can easily cause fungal infections, and if the humidity is too low, respiratory diseases are also very likely to occur. So what humidity is suitable for farming partridges? Generally, for seven-day-old partridges, the humidity in the farm is best at around sixty-five percent, and after eight days of age, the humidity in the air can be appropriately lowered and kept at around fifty-five percent.

3. Light

The lighting in the farm must be sufficient, otherwise partridges cannot be raised successfully. The growth of partridges has a relatively large demand for light, especially newly hatched partridge chicks, which need light exposure twenty-four hours a day, so artificial supplementary lighting equipment is needed. Only after partridges grow to seven days of age can the light duration be reduced, but a light duration of sixteen hours must still be ensured.

4. Ventilation

Partridge farms are generally built in places sheltered from the wind and facing the sun, but the farm also needs to maintain air circulation and cannot remain closed. If air circulation in the farm is poor, it will also trigger some diseases. That is to say, the farm needs ventilation or air exchange equipment, which can speed up the discharge of carbon dioxide, help maintain fresh air in the farm, and promote the metabolism of partridges.

5. Environment

Partridges are very timid and are easily startled, and are prone to stress reactions, leading to loss of appetite and even death. Therefore, the farm should be chosen in a relatively quiet place, and the farm should not raise cats, dogs, chickens, ducks and other poultry that make relatively loud noises. Second, the farming environment should be clean and tidy, and should be cleaned and disinfected regularly.

The points mentioned above are all essential conditions for partridge farming. If the above five conditions cannot be met, the losses in partridge farming will also be very large, which is also the reason many beginners fail at farming. Also, the most important point in farming is to master farming techniques well. With professional farming techniques, naturally many problems can also be solved.
