The problem of moss needs to be solved comprehensively. Overall, it is mainly caused by water that is too clear, water that is too shallow, nutrient-rich bottom substrate, and relatively high sunlight and temperature; therefore, to fundamentally solve the problem, it needs to be handled comprehensively, not by relying on just one product;

First: appropriate shading of sunlight is needed. The method is to use 20-25 kg of plant ash per mu, applying it to the pond starting from the upwind side. At the same time, it can appropriately increase the total alkalinity of the pond, improve the pH buffering performance of the pond, and improve the performance of fish and shrimp scales and molting and shell changing. The second method of shading sunlight is to use black soil essence (sodium humate soil) at 5-10 kg per mu, also applied starting from the upwind side, but the former has a better effect, except that plant ash is relatively hard to find. If used well, it can make the moss rot and die quickly.

Second: under the premise of shading sunlight, use microbial agents, of course using Yifuyuan special microbial strain for aquaculture, to regulate water quality, destroy the microenvironment of the moss, form a microenvironment unfavorable to the growth of moss, and compete for the nutrients of the moss. Qiangwei bottom-improving and mud-culturing composite microbial granules can directly sink to the bottom of the pond and act directly in the moss environment. Combined with the above shading treatment, the effect is better. Of course, Qiangwei bottom-improving and mud-culturing composite microbial granules themselves also have the effect of reducing water transparency, because they decompose nutrients at the bottom and release them into the water body, thereby cultivating high-quality algae. The cultivated high-quality algae then reduce the transparency of the water body, thereby reducing the intensity of direct sunlight reaching the bottom of the pond, and thus reducing the growth of moss;

Third: when possible, appropriately deepen the water depth. Deepening the water can reduce the intensity of direct sunlight reaching the bottom of the pond, thereby reducing the photosynthesis of the moss, and thus blocking the way the moss obtains energy. Of course, some ponds may not be convenient for adding water, for example, the height of the pond limits water addition, or the animals being cultured do not allow too much water to be added. If possible, it is recommended to add some water and deepen the water.

Fourth: appropriately fertilize the water, cultivate high-quality algae, reduce transparency, or maintain transparency at around 20-35 cm, which can also reduce the effect of moss. For fertilization that has a corresponding direct effect on moss, first is pig manure for fertilizing water. Of course, it is recommended that pig manure is best first fermented and harmlessly treated with Yifuyuan manure fermentation agent. Applying 20-30 kg per mu of fermented wet-basis pig manure can quickly cultivate high-quality algae, quickly reduce transparency, and quickly promote the rotting and death of moss.

Fifth: it should be noted that after a large amount of moss dies, the water body of the pond will definitely be relatively fertile, because the substances dissolved from dead moss are nutrients. At this time, if it is too fertile, note that some water should be changed, or it is recommended to use our Yifuyuan special microbial strain for aquaculture. The special microbial strain for aquaculture can quickly absorb soluble nutrients in the water, improve the balance of the microbial system, and thereby make the water body clear and refreshing. The more fertile the water, the more the special microbial strain for aquaculture should be used, which can make the water body become fertile, lively, tender and refreshing.

Therefore, to summarize finally: when moss appears, combine it with shading treatment (black soil essence, or plant ash), then appropriately use pig manure and other materials to fertilize the water, and finally use probiotics to regulate the water.
