In addition, it has a poignant legend. It is said that a prince fell in love with a girl from an ordinary family, while a princess fell in love with the prince. The prince often secretly went to see the girl and gave all his love to her. When the princess found out, she was extremely jealous. In order to win the prince, she actually informed the king, and the kind farm girl was put to death. The prince became utterly despondent and hated the princess deeply. As a result, the princess grew thinner and more haggard day by day, until one day she could no longer move. She still gazed up at the prince's receding figure, and over time her body turned to soil, her clothes turned into branches and leaves, and she became a Clivia. At the moment she stopped breathing, flowers covered her whole body, and she forever faced the direction of the castle; even after becoming a flower, she still loved him endlessly.
