How do you care for a pitcher plant at home? Growing methods and precautions
Pitcher plant: Home growing methods and precautions

The pitcher plant is a tropical plant, and its growth requires relatively high temperatures, so when caring for it at home, especially in the south, you must pay special attention, as the pitcher plant is very susceptible to cold damage.

The pitcher plant's temperature requirements
The pitcher plant is a tropical plant that loves warm conditions and grows rapidly at 20-30°C. However, when the temperature is too low, the pitcher plant stops growing. In winter, to prevent the pitcher plant from suffering cold damage, protective measures must be taken to ensure the indoor temperature does not fall below 10°C.

The pitcher plant's light requirements
Although the pitcher plant is a tropical plant and can grow in sunlight, it fears strong light. In summer, pay attention to sun protection; the usual practice is to set up a shade net. But do not move the pitcher plant directly to a shady spot just to avoid direct strong light. If the pitcher plant receives too little light, the plant grows slowly, and the pitchers become smaller or may not form at all, in which case it would not really be a pitcher plant anymore.
