Under the "13th Five-Year Plan for Ecological and Environmental Protection" policy, farms within prohibited zones will be shut down before the end of 2017, with only one month left; the purpose of this is to improve and protect, and to regulate the rural farming environment.

Starting January 1, 2018, farmers will begin paying environmental protection tax and other fees, and there are also penalty policies: if the amount of tax evaded is greater than 10% of the tax amount, the penalty is up to three years of fixed-term imprisonment or criminal detention; if the amount of tax evaded is greater than 30% of the tax amount, the penalty is more than three years and up to seven years of fixed-term imprisonment;
What kind of farmers need to pay the tax?
Livestock and poultry farms with a breeding stock scale greater than 50 head of cattle, 500 pigs, 5,000 chickens, ducks, etc.
However, in these three situations, no fee needs to be paid
