How to use drugs to prevent swine respiratory diseases? Sharing practical solutions

Livestock Farming 0 views
A variety of drugs can be used in production to prevent swine respiratory diseases. The main drugs include tiamulin (Tailijia), chlortetracycline (doxycycline), oxytetracycline, amoxicillin, tiamulin, kitasamycin, thiamphenicol, florphenicol, Ailihutaisu, Taihuangfeisu, etc. New drugs and drug combinations are also constantly emerging. Pig farms (households) can flexibly choose according to actual conditions, and combining with drug sensitivity tests will be more targeted. For sows, add 100 grams of tiamulin, 300 grams of chlortetracycline, and amoxicillin per ton of feed

For sows, add 100 grams of tiamulin, 300 grams of chlortetracycline, and 200 grams of amoxicillin per ton of feed, and use continuously for 7 days before and after farrowing. Alternatively, add 1 kilogram of Taihuangfeisu per ton of feed and use continuously from 3 days before farrowing to 5 days after farrowing.

For nursery pigs, add 100 grams of tiamulin, 300 grams of chlortetracycline, and 250 grams of amoxicillin per ton of feed. Alternatively, add 100 grams of tiamulin, 250 grams of amoxicillin, and 150 grams of doxycycline per ton of feed, and use continuously from 7 days before weaning to 14 days after weaning. It is also possible to add 1~2 kilograms of Taihuangfeisu per ton of feed and use continuously for 7~10 days before and after weaning.

For growing-finishing pigs, after nursery pigs are transferred to the growing barn, add 100 grams of tiamulin, 150 grams of amoxicillin, and 150 grams of doxycycline per ton of feed, and use continuously for 7~10 days. Alternatively, add 1 kilogram of Taihuangfeisu per ton of feed and feed continuously for 7~10 days before stress such as group transfer, feed change, and vaccination.

For newborn piglets, at 3 days, 7 days, and 21 days of age, intramuscularly inject 0.5 milliliters of long-acting oxytetracycline respectively, which can effectively prevent bacterial respiratory diseases. To prevent respiratory diseases caused by parasites such as lungworms and roundworms, add Chonglihei and ivermectin powder to the feed, feed continuously for 1 week, leave an interval of 7~10 days, and then feed for another 1 week.
