1. The feed given should be varied. It is best to feed pigs compound feed, because the various nutrients in compound feed, such as minerals and trace elements, are properly balanced. When feeding concentrated feed, it should be paired with green and coarse feed, and an appropriate amount of minerals and trace elements should be added, such as adding 1%-2% bone meal and 0.25%-0.5% salt, which has a certain effect on preventing pigs from grinding their teeth at night. Once a pig shows nighttime teeth grinding, supplement each pig's feed daily with 30-50 grams of bone meal or eggshell powder or calcium bicarbonate powder, and 6-19 grams of salt, feeding continuously for 7-1

Once a pig shows nighttime teeth grinding, supplement each pig's feed daily with 30-50 grams of bone meal or eggshell powder or calcium bicarbonate powder, and 6-19 grams of salt, feeding continuously for 7-10 days, and the nighttime teeth grinding will disappear.

2. Promptly expel parasites from the pig's body. When pigs have internal parasites, nighttime teeth grinding can also occur, and they must be eliminated promptly. Deworming pigs is generally carried out on a sunny day, provided the pig has no other diseases. Stop feeding at noon, and at 8-9 p.m. when the pig is empty, according to the pig's body weight, use 15-20 mg per kg of albendazole or levamisole, morantel, or tetramisole, grind it into powder, mix it into a small amount of concentrated feed, and administer it in one feeding. Two days after feeding, dissolve 1 kg of quicklime in 5 kg of water, take the clear limewater liquid, and continue mixing it into the feed, feeding once a day for 2 consecutive days, and the parasites in the pig's body can be expelled. In this way, the symptoms of nighttime teeth grinding caused by internal parasites in pigs can disappear on their own.

3. Strengthen the pig's digestive function. Chronic indigestion in pigs can also cause nighttime teeth grinding. For pigs with indigestion, the stomach should be strengthened and the appetite promoted, and various methods can be used. For example, for pigs weighing more than 10 kg, use 10 tablets of rhubarb and sodium bicarbonate tablets with a content of 0.3 grams, grind them into powder and mix into the feed, feeding twice a day for 3 consecutive days, which can help strengthen the stomach. If at the same time 50 grams each of hawthorn, malt, and medicated leaven (one-time dosage) are decocted into juice and mixed into the feed, feeding twice a day for 5 consecutive days, it can also help promote digestion. Alternatively, take 20 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 30 grams of Poria cocos, 30 grams of dried tangerine peel, 10 grams of chicken gizzard lining, 30 grams of malt, and 10 grams of licorice, decoct them, take the juice, and mix it into the feed. Each pig can also be fed 100-200 grams of purslane, 150-200 grams of carrot, and 50-100 grams of Atractylodes lancea each day; or 25 grams each of Atractylodes lancea, pine needles, and oriental arborvitae leaves, sun-dried, crushed into powder, and mixed into the feed (usage as above). As long as the symptoms of chronic indigestion in pigs improve, they will no longer grind their teeth at night.
