What methods give good disinfection results on rabbit farms?
Strengthen preventive disinfection. Rabbit farms should establish a scientific disinfection plan, carrying out scientific disinfection at set times and on a regular schedule; through regular disinfection, the environment is purified and pathogens are killed. For vehicles, personnel, articles and tools that frequently enter and leave, different disinfectants and disinfection methods should be selected according to the different objects, so that prevention comes first and treatment comes after.
Choose suitable disinfectants. Under the guidance of professional technicians, rabbit farms should, according to the different objects, requirements and environmental conditions on the farm, purchase qualified disinfectants from legally operating units; when choosing, check the product's certificate of conformity, instructions, production date, etc. The disinfectant is required to be low in price, easily soluble in water, free of residual toxicity, harmless to the objects being disinfected, relatively stable in air, convenient to use, and to have broad-spectrum, rapid and highly effective disinfecting action.
Scientifically prepare disinfectants. After buying disinfectants, the technicians on the rabbit farm should carefully check the requirements in the instructions and the incompatibilities, and according to the different disinfection objects, the required concentration and the dosage, prepare one batch and use it up in one go. At the same time, note that the temperature of the disinfectant should be adjusted according to the different seasons to improve the disinfection effect.
Design a scientific disinfection procedure. Rabbit farms should formulate reasonable disinfection procedures according to the different disinfection objects on the farm. Utensils such as feed troughs and water troughs should be cleaned first and then disinfected; the ambient air and the rabbits themselves can be disinfected directly; rabbit cages and tools need to be disinfected first, then cleaned, and then disinfected again.
Choose suitable disinfection methods. According to the different disinfection environments, disinfection objects and types, choose feasible disinfection methods that can produce highly effective results for them. For environmental disinfection, for example, fumigation can be chosen, and spraying can also be chosen; for work clothes, tools and utensils, ultraviolet irradiation can be chosen; for some, soaking, washing, etc. can be chosen. In general, specific situations should be analysed specifically, and reasonable disinfection procedures should be formulated and suitable disinfection methods selected, so as to achieve a highly effective disinfection result.
Disinfection schedule. In summer, disinfect once a week. In winter, disinfect once every 10-15 days. Note that the disinfection sprayer should be moved over quickly and must not linger too long on the bamboo boards and iron bars.
