How to Use the DRAMINSKI Pig Pregnancy Detector and Its Features
The DRAMINSKI Pig Pregnancy Detector is a portable, relatively high-performance ultrasonic testing instrument that can identify whether an animal is pregnant with maximum accuracy. This allows pregnant animals (sows and ewes) to be selected in a timely manner, reducing labor and feeding costs. The detector measures the amniotic fluid in the uterus to determine whether the female animal is pregnant. The test can be easily completed simply by pressing the ultrasonic probe against the animal's skin. Once pregnancy is detected, the indicator light flashes rapidly and a high-frequency sound signal is emitted. Operation can be completed with just one button press. There are two types of probes: for sows, testing can be carried out 15 to 75 days after fertilization, with the best results obtained between 25 and 30 days. For ewes, testing can be carried out 30 to 120 days after fertilization, with the best results obtained at around 45 days. For female dogs, testing can be carried out three weeks after mating, but the best time for accurate determination is between 25 and 28 days. Testing before 25 days is also possible, but accuracy is reduced because there is not enough amniotic fluid to reflect the ultrasound. Testing beyond the optimal period is also possible.
The DRAMINSKI Pig Pregnancy Detector has passed ISO9001:2000 quality system certification. Its main technical parameters are as follows:
