I. Land Preparation Select loose, fertile loam soil with good drainage. During land preparation, broadcast fully decomposed organic fertilizer at 5 cubic meters per mu, and plow deeply to 30-35 cm. Then make beds at a width of 110-120 cm with 50 cm walkways. For every 100 sq m of bed surface, broadcast 10-15 kg of calcium superphosphate, 4-6 kg of potassium sulfate, and 0.8-1.0 kg of quintozene, then dig again to 20-30 cm so that the soil becomes loose, crumbly, level, soft, and fertile. Water thoroughly once 3 days before planting. II. Bulb Treatment Bulbs

Water thoroughly once 3 days before planting.

II. Bulb Treatment The bulbs should be treated at a low temperature of 0°C-4°C for 30-35 days, or at 7°C-8°C for 40-50 days. After breaking dormancy, soak the bulbs and sprout them. Select large, robust bulbs, peel off the outer aged, dead, or diseased scales, soak them in a mixed solution of 800-fold carbendazim and thiophanate-methyl for 30 minutes, remove them and rinse briefly with clean water, spread them in 1-2 layers on the ground, cover with straw to retain moisture and promote sprouting, and plant after sprouting or white roots appear.

III. Timely Sowing Generally sow in late September to early October. In areas with severe winter frost and no heating facilities, sow in early spring.

IV. Field Management Water thoroughly immediately after sowing and keep the soil moist. When the seedlings emerge and grow to about 5 cm tall, apply a top dressing of dilute cake fertilizer water or dilute manure water once. After 15-20 days, apply dilute manure water once more. After each fertilization, spray water in the air immediately. During the full bud stage, spray 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate or a multi-element microelement fertilizer solution once every 7-10 days. After each thorough watering, carry out shallow intertillage and weeding in time. After emergence, use a shade net with 50%-70% light transmittance to shade outside or inside the shed.

V. Pest and Disease Control Common lily diseases include gray mold, leaf spot, and root rot. If disease occurs during the growing period, alternately spray fungicides such as amobam and carbendazim every 7-10 days. Common pests are mainly underground pests such as root mites and aphids, which can be controlled with phoxim and dicofol.
