Vitamin C deficiency: vitamin C deficiency has little effect on the health of the mother animal, but it has a great effect on the normal development of the cubs. This is because a lack of vitamin C can increase capillary permeability, causing capillary bleeding, redness and tightness of the skin at the affected area, edema of the limbs, thickened joints, swollen foot pads, and the cubs scream with weak cries, have difficulty crawling, cannot nurse, and the mortality rate is very high. Prevention and treatment methods (1) To prevent this disease, the mother animal must be provided with a complete compound feed, required to contain sufficient vitamins, and supplied with fresh leafy vegetable feed
