In the feeding and care of Pekingese, they must be given enough nutrition. Besides feeding an appropriate amount of vegetarian food such as vegetables, bread and biscuits every day, you also need to feed 150-250 grams of lean meat once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Feeding small shrimp or fish is also fine. It is best to add a little milk powder, calcium powder and crushed multivitamin powder to the vegetarian food. Dogs are animals, and they also need a certain amount of activity to promote blood circulation and metabolism. So when the owner goes shopping or walks in the park, it is best to take it out for a walk too

Paying attention to cleaning and hygiene is also an important part of raising a Pekingese well. Every 5-10 days, give it a dry brushing; give it a bath every 3-4 months; in summer, it should be bathed once every week. This breed's coat is long and thick, and it must be brushed once a day, otherwise it will tangle into knots. Sprinkling a little combing powder or hair conditioner before brushing is even better. Normally, take care not to keep it together with other dogs and not let it fight with other dogs, otherwise its coat is easily damaged, causing flaws in its appearance.

The Pekingese is rather delicate, and its ability to resist disease and withstand harsh environments is not strong. In the hot summer, especially on muggy days, it will have difficulty breathing and may even fall ill. Normally do not let it be active under direct sun, and when necessary cool it down or move it to a ventilated, cool place. When the weather alternates between hot and cold, adjust things to prevent it from catching a chill and coming down with a cold. When this dog lives in a high-room-temperature environment, it sheds hair easily, so try to let it live in a somewhat cooler environment.
