Preventing and controlling leaf spot disease in Japanese euonymus: 1. In winter, thoroughly remove diseased fallen leaves, burn them in a centralized manner or bury them deeply, to reduce the source of the disease. 2. Select robust seedlings to create hedges or make euonymus balls. 3. During the disease season, spray 1% Bordeaux mixture, or 50% benomyl wettable powder at 1000 to 1500 times dilution, or 50% carbendazim at 500 times dilution, or 75% chlorothalonil at 500 times dilution, spraying once every 10 to 15 days, for 2 to 3 consecutive times. Alternatively, spraying 200 times diluted non-toxic high-lipid film 4 times is also effective.
