Key Technical Points for Integrated High-Efficiency Duck-Pig-Fish Farming

Livestock Farming 0 views
Through integrated farming, ducks, pigs, and fish can make full and rational use of energy, achieving the goals of saving feed and attaining high yield and high efficiency. The integrated high-efficiency duck-pig-fish farming method is: 1. Select superior breeds. For ducks, Cherry Valley ducks are best; for pigs, crossbred Landrace pigs and other improved breeds; for fish, mainly silver carp, bighead carp, black carp, grass carp, etc. These breeds tolerate coarse feed and grow fast. 2. Management of duck pens, pig houses, and fish ponds. Duck pens, pig houses, and fish ponds should be concentrated and conveniently located for transport to facilitate management. Keep the

Through integrated farming, ducks, pigs, and fish can make full and rational use of energy, achieving the goals of saving feed and attaining high yield and high efficiency. The integrated high-efficiency duck-pig-fish farming method is:

Keep duck pens, pig houses, and fish ponds clean and hygienic, strictly disinfect according to regulations, and prevent disease.

3. Do a good job of rational stocking. Based on a workload of 1 person for management, raise 150-200 ducklings per batch, 15-23 pigs of 40-50 kg, and 0.7-1.2 mu of fish pond, which makes feeding and harvesting easier, with 4-5 fingerlings of 8 cm stocked per square meter of water surface. Make sure the sizes are uniform.

4. Feed and feeding methods

(1) Duckling feed formula: corn 65%, wheat bran 20%, @#@245@#@ or cooked broken rice grains 10%, soybean cake meal 5%; in addition, add 3 cooked eggs per hundred ducklings, an appropriate amount of skimmed milk powder per 100 kg of feed, and 1 tablet of oxytetracycline. Formula after 10-15 days of age: corn 50%, bran 10%, barley 5%, soybean meal 2% (roasted), rice bran 5%, fish meal 7%, bone meal 1.3%, plus an appropriate amount of trace elements and multivitamins. Green feed is fed at 16-20 times the daily ration. Feed 7 times a day (5:00, 8:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, 20:00, 23:00), and provide enough clean drinking water. In this way, they can reach 2 kg in 50 days.

(2) Pig feed formula: Pig feed is made by mixing fresh duck manure with an appropriate amount of rice bran, bran, cornmeal, soybean cake meal, distiller's yeast, additives, and water. Stir evenly, seal and ferment until it has a wine-like aroma, then feed directly.

(3) Fish feed formula: mix pig manure 90%, rice bran 5%, bran 3%, and flour evenly, and make into pellets. Feed in the morning and evening; at the same time, let the ducks into the water to forage during the day, and the duck manure can also be eaten directly by the fish. This greatly reduces feed costs and accelerates fish growth. Pig manure also has the effect of inhibiting algae at the bottom of the water.
