----The Meishan pig is a subgroup of the Taihu pig, with the breeding center on both banks of the Liuhe River, the main drainage channel of Taihu Lake, and is mainly distributed in Taicang and Kunshan in Jiangsu Province and Jiading in Shanghai, among other places.----As early as the 12th century during the Song Dynasty, the @#@227@#@ industry in the Taihu Lake basin was already quite developed. Located in the subtropical zone, with a mild climate, abundant rainfall and high crop yields, it is one of China's famous high-yield and stable-yield agricultural regions.
