Autumn Prevention and Control Methods for Fish Fulminant Hemorrhagic Disease
Fish are prone to fulminant hemorrhagic disease in autumn. This disease has a sudden onset, spreads quickly, and has a long epidemic duration, with a high mortality rate and heavy losses. Once it breaks out, it is difficult to control, and the condition tends to recur. @#@233@#@ farmers should strengthen their awareness of prevention to prevent the occurrence of this disease.
1. Disinfection of fingerlings Before fingerlings are stocked into ponds, they must be soaked and disinfected in 1% to 2% salt water. The soaking time depends on the fish's constitution and the temperature. When conditions permit, fingerlings can be soaked with fulminant hemorrhagic disease vaccine.
2. Timely water exchange and oxygen enhancement The water quality must be kept fresh, with frequent water changes. If water changes are inconvenient due to limited conditions, quicklime can be slaked into a slurry and splashed over the entire pond, and aerators should be used reasonably.
3. Regular water body disinfection and oral drug prevention Every 10 to 15 days, environmentally friendly drugs such as dibromohydantoin and bromochlorohydantoin can be used alternately to disinfect the water body. After disinfection, wait 5 days and then use beneficial microbial preparations to improve water quality. Mix appropriate amounts of safe drugs such as berberine hydrochloride and erythromycin specially for aquatic products into the feed, with 5 days as one treatment course, feeding 1 to 2 treatment courses per month.
4. Reasonable dense stocking and polyculture When the stocking density is too high, fish should be caught in batches and thinned out to maintain a reasonable stocking density in the pond, and the water environment should not be allowed to carry an overload of fish.
5. Choose medium- and high-grade feed, and use fewer feed raw materials (raw bran, corn, @#@245@#@, etc.) and low-grade feed.
6. Pay attention to pond hygiene Usually, weeds should be removed frequently and feeding grounds cleaned, with no leftover bait. Dead fish should be removed promptly and treated in a pollution-free manner.
