1. Fasciolopsiasis. (1) Treatment. The following drugs can be used for deworming: ① Bithionol. 60-70 mg per kg of body weight, mixed into a small amount of concentrated feed and given orally, safe and effective. ② Nitrothiocyanamine. 3-6 mg per kg of body weight, mixed into feed and given orally once. ③ Praziquantel. 5 mg per kg of body weight mixed into feed and given orally, with good deworming effect. ④ Trichlorfon. 100 mg per kg of body weight, with the total amount for large pigs not exceeding 8 grams. Oral administration can achieve relatively good results, and at the same time it can also expel roundworms and whipworms. It is generally believed

1. Fasciolopsiasis.

(1) Treatment. The following drugs can be used for deworming:

① Bithionol.

It is generally believed that organophosphorus preparations such as trichlorfon are only effective against nematodes. The reason trichlorfon can expel Fasciolopsis buski may be that trichlorfon can promote violent peristalsis of the intestinal tract, so that Fasciolopsis buski cannot attach to the intestinal wall and is expelled.

(2) Prevention.

① The feces of diseased pigs should be piled up and fermented to kill the eggs and cut off the source of infection.

② Regular deworming is a very important preventive measure. Because about 2 months after the local air temperature reaches above 27-32 degrees C each year is the infection season. At this time, if pigs become infected, it takes another 3 months for the larvae to develop into adults, and deworming at this time (late autumn) is most suitable.

③ In ponds where aquatic forage grass is planted, 0.1% quicklime, copper sulfate at a concentration of 2-10 mg/L, and 0.01% tea seed cake can be selected to kill snails.

2. Clonorchiasis.

(1) Treatment. The following drugs can be used for deworming:

① Praziquantel. It can be used as the drug of first choice. The dosage is 2-5 mg per kg of body weight, taken orally once.

② Albendazole. 30 mg per kg of body weight, once a day, for several consecutive days.

③ Hexachlorophene. 20 mg per kg of body weight, taken orally, once a day, for 2-3 consecutive days.

④ Hetolin. 50-60 mg per kg of body weight, mixed into feed and given orally, once a day, with 5 days as one course of treatment.

(2) Prevention.

① Pigs, cats and dogs in epidemic areas should be regularly inspected and dewormed.

② It is strictly forbidden to feed animals raw or half-raw fish and shrimp in epidemic areas.

③ Manage the feces of pigs, dogs and other animals well, remove it promptly and pile it up for fermentation, prevent feces from polluting ponds, and prohibit building toilets or pig pens beside fish ponds.

④ Eliminate the first intermediate host freshwater snails.
