To make sows breed on schedule, manual massage can be used to promote estrus. After scratching makes the sow calm and lying down, the massage can be carried out.

1. First, gently press the sow's neck with the left hand, pinch the base of a teat with the middle and index fingers of the right hand, and press and knead the teat with the thumb 20 times in each direction, clockwise and counterclockwise, until the entire udder of the sow has been massaged once.

2. In the armpits on both sides of the front and hind legs, press and knead with the right thumb 30 times in each direction, clockwise and counterclockwise. After 5 minutes, hold the sow's body with the left hand, applying force lightly at first and then more heavily, for 3 minutes.

3. Let the pig stand, clamp its body with both arms, and with both palms simultaneously press and knead the outer sides of the two rows of teats on the pig's lower abdomen, pushing and pulling back and forth 15 times. After the whole process is finished, pat the sow lightly on the rump. Let it walk a few dozen steps in the pen and rest on its own. With continuous massage for 5-7 days (performed morning and evening), sows can generally come into estrus earlier.
