Dahlias are deeply loved for their rich colors, large blooms, and easy cultivation. Below is a cultivation method for dwarf dahlias, for everyone's reference: Dwarf dahlias are mainly propagated by cuttings. From June to July, cut stem sections with 2 to 3 buds (stem nodes) for cuttings. The cutting medium should be a material with good aeration that does not hold water, such as perlite, vermiculite, etc. When cutting, first use a thin bamboo stick about the same thickness as the cutting stem section to poke a hole in the medium, then place the stem section into the hole

Dwarf dahlias are mainly propagated by cuttings. From June to July, cut stem sections with 2 to 3 buds (stem nodes) for cuttings. The cutting medium should be a material with good aeration that does not hold water, such as perlite, vermiculite, etc.

When cutting, first use a thin bamboo stick about the same thickness as the cutting stem section to poke a hole in the medium, then place the stem section into the hole. The leaves on the cutting stem section should be trimmed by 1/3 to 2/3 to reduce water evaporation. Then slowly soak the cutting medium with water so that it makes good contact with the cuttings. Place the cutting bed in a shaded area. During this period, do not water too much; generally, roots will form about half a month after cutting.

After the cuttings have rooted, slowly pry them up and transplant them into small pots with a diameter of 20 to 30 cm. The potting soil must have good drainage. First place a layer of coarser soil particles at the bottom of the pot, then mix 3 parts leaf mold, 6 parts fine soil, and 1 part base fertilizer (crushed pig manure, bone meal, etc.) evenly as the potting soil. During cultivation, be careful not to damage the young roots. After planting, place in a shaded area, maintain water supply, and ensure good ventilation. After half a month to 1 month, when the small plants have grown to 15 to 20 cm tall, they can be moved to a sunny, well-ventilated location, and watering once every morning is sufficient.

During the plant's growth period, apply diluted farmyard liquid fertilizer 1 to 2 times every 1 to 2 weeks. When the plant grows too tall, the terminal bud can be pinched off to encourage lateral buds to sprout and reduce plant height. When flower buds form, the frequency of top dressing can be appropriately increased; generally, top dressing can be applied 1 to 2 times per week (apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, less urea).

During the care process, maintain sufficient sunlight and good ventilation. After more than 2 months, a pot of dwarf dahlia will be successfully cultivated.
