How to feed domestic rabbits reasonably? Scientific feeding promotes healthy growth

Only reasonable feeding benefits rabbit growth. How to feed domestic rabbits reasonably

    1. Determine the feed amount according to the size of the individual domestic rabbit. In general, feed adult domestic rabbits a little more, and feed young rabbits and weaned rabbits a little less.

    2. According to the fat or thin condition of the domestic rabbit, adjust the feeding amount and mixing ratio of the feed. For fatter domestic rabbits, reduce the amount of concentrated feed and increase the feeding of green and roughage; for thin and weak domestic rabbits, feed more concentrated feed and appropriately supplement cooked soybeans.

    3. According to the condition of the domestic rabbit's droppings, adjust the drinking water supply for the domestic rabbit. When feeding every morning, observe the rabbit droppings, and adjust the drinking water amount according to whether the droppings are dry or wet or whether they are clumped. If the droppings are dry and hard, it indicates a lack of water, so increase the drinking water amount; if the droppings are relatively soft and contain more water, increase the amount of dry feed and reduce the feeding of green feed and the drinking water amount.

    4. According to whether the domestic rabbit is hungry or full, take corresponding feeding measures. Whether a domestic rabbit is hungry or full is reflected in the size of its belly. If the belly is sunken and shriveled, the domestic rabbit is hungry, so increase the feed amount; if the belly is relatively large, the domestic rabbit is very full, so control the feed amount. In general, it is appropriate to feed domestic rabbits to 80% full. Overfeeding easily causes indigestion and induces diseases such as diarrhea; insufficient feeding affects the normal growth and development of domestic rabbits.

    5. According to weather changes, mix cleverly and feed scientifically. When the temperature exceeds 30°C, feeding should be chosen in the morning and at night, and at the same time feed cooler feed or green feed. In winter when the weather is cold, mix the concentrated feed with hot water and shape it into balls before feeding it to the domestic rabbits.
