Its stem is very short, and the leaves are ovate-lanceolate, obliquely oblong or elliptical; the sepals and petals are partly the same yellow-green color, the petals are elliptical-obovate, narrowed to a wedge-shaped base, and purplish-red, with some white along the edges of the flowers. Its flowering period is close to that of Phalaenopsis philippinensis, also blooming between May and June.
