Cymbidium faberi 'Cuimei' Pictures and Characteristics Introduction, How Much Does One Seedling Cost

There are many varieties of Cymbidium faberi, but do you know the variety Cuimei? This orchid is not cheap, which is a highlight by which many people know it. Its usual price is around 1000 yuan to 1500 yuan. So what characteristics does it have?

Cuimei's grass is at most less than 50 cm. 2 seedlings produce one stalk of flowers, the flowers are not considered large, and the third flower even feels a bit stiff, but such flowering quality, paired with the grass form, is already very satisfactory. In late November, place the Cymbidium faberi with flower buds on a north-facing balcony at a relatively low temperature (below 10 degrees). In early February, gradually move it into a flower house or a south-facing balcony, and do not let the temperature rise too quickly. When the flower buds begin to stir, start watering once thoroughly, and water once more when the florets are in small bud arrangement. Gradually maintain the temperature at 15 to 18 degrees, and the night temperature is best at 8 to 10 degrees. In this way, Cuimei will bloom very well.

Cuimei has emerald-green leaf color, a light green flower scape, pink-purple pedicels, and a slender constricted base. The sepals on both sides form a straight-line shoulder. The lip is a dragon-swallowing tongue, with bright red spots on the tongue surface. The flower form is upright, listed among the “New Eight Kinds”, and is an excellent variety of red-turning-green plum-petal flower.
