Environment selection for centipede farming

Centipede farming requires a good environment as a prerequisite; management should be improved without going against the centipede's growth, and proper rearing should be pursued on the basis of real output. The key to farming centipedes is maintaining cleanliness and hygiene along with sensible preventive management. Centipede farming is suited to an environment that is well ventilated, has unpolluted air, is far from pesticides and chemical fertilizers, does not accumulate water year-round, has a convenient water source, is free of vibrating noise, and has soil that is unpolluted and not fertile.

Common foods for centipedes include fish, shrimp, pig lungs, crickets, locusts, loach, cicadas, chicken blood, earthworms, animal offal, animal meat, insects, various flies and so on. At the same time, a small amount of fresh melon and fruit can be chosen as a supplementary food to replenish moisture, but it must not be used as a staple food. Fresh food must be fed; the food can be managed by refrigeration. Do not feed rotten, greasy or cooked food, and even less should food carrying pesticides, chemicals or other harmful substances be put in for feeding.
