How big is the Brazilian giant earthworm actually?

The Brazilian giant earthworm is a giant earthworm of a giant caecilian subspecies found in the forests of South America. Legend says this creature existed back in the age of the dinosaurs. Although it is called the "Brazilian giant earthworm", it is in fact only distantly related to earthworms; it is an amphibious vertebrate. Most reports of this creature being found today come from Brazil.
The Brazilian giant earthworm lives in South America. It is about 1.5 m long and weighs at least around 1 jin, comparable to a snake. It is said the longest can reach over 2 m, longer than an ordinary long snake.
On July 19, 2014, a giant earthworm was discovered near the Sumaco volcano in Ecuador. It was about 1.5 m long and weighed at least 1.12 pounds, similar in size to a snake.
In fact, in Gippsland in southeastern Australia there is a "giant earthworm". This earthworm rivals a snake in size, reaching 3-4 m in length. This so-called "largest and longest earthworm in the world" is not something you can see just anywhere. This "giant earthworm" lives only along the riverbanks of Gippsland, in a very moist soil. If people step above their burrows, they sense the vibration and make a creaking sound.
