What foods are better to feed hamsters in their daily diet?

The staple diet of hamsters consists mainly of various weed seeds and grains, and they occasionally prey on insects. They have a habit of storing food. Domestic hamsters do not hibernate, but to prevent pseudo-hibernation they will store food for the winter. Under artificial rearing, they can be fed rat food, dried fruit, and an appropriate amount of vegetables. When feeding, specially formulated hamster food is generally given. When hamster food is the main diet, care should also be taken to feed some breadworms and dried small fish.
Harmful foods for hamsters
1. Fruits: almonds, plums, loquats, peaches, honey peaches, apple seeds (these can cause heart paralysis, gastrointestinal disorders, and difficulty breathing).
2. Vegetables: onions, scallion leaves (these destroy blood components), garlic, ginger, Chinese chives, celery (too irritating), and the leaves and stems of tomatoes and potatoes.
3. Plants: narcissus, tulips, morning glory, rhododendron, orchids, sweet flag, hyacinth, ferns, cyclamen, hydrangea, balloon flower, fern plants, and iris.
4. Others: human snacks, biscuits, chocolate, coffee (these two foods can cause heart paralysis), and alcohol.
Foods hamsters can eat
1. Vegetables: leafy greens (such as bok choy), carrots, pumpkin (green and yellow vegetables are best).
2. Seeds: sunflower seeds, peanuts, walnuts, pine nuts (do not give too many), safflower seeds, and hemp seeds.
3. Fruits: apples, strawberries, cherries, bananas, grapes (because they contain a lot of sugar, please do not give too many).
4. Grains: wheat, corn, millet, oats.
5. Plants: clover, dandelion, kudzu, plantain.
6. Animal protein: beef, chicken, boiled egg white, small insects, and pet dried small fish.
Supplemental foods for hamsters
1. Breadworms: very high in protein, the holy grail of supplements, but please do not feed too many in a day.
2. Dried small fish: contains calcium and animal protein; for older hamsters it can be ground into powder before feeding.
3. Nutritional paste: available on the market, in two flavors, deep-sea fish oil and cherry.
4. Nutritional water: sold everywhere on the market, priced from 100 to 150.
5. Glucose water: glucose can be bought at pharmacies, mixed with boiled water at 1:10 and fed. It can increase appetite.
6. Artificial baby puree: available in all supermarkets, feed about 0.5cc at a time, please store in the refrigerator.
7. Small animal milk replacer: most shops selling hamster supplies have it. One packet is mixed with 10cc of water. Hamsters drink little, so please adjust the amount yourself, and it must be finished immediately.
Note: Hamsters must not be fed human food. Too much salt and heavy seasoning increase the burden on the hamster's body. Please store feed and snacks in sealed jars, which can be placed in the refrigerator. Discard any food that has bred insects or ants. As for fruits and vegetables, please do not feed too much at one time, as it easily causes diarrhea and death. Most fruits and vegetables contain pesticides, so please wash them with clean water, wipe them dry, and then feed.
