Safety analysis of the biological load of fish kept in the pond from June to November
Starting in late August, bream are caught with fixed lift nets to control the biological load of fish in the pond at around 1600 to 1800 jin. Bream is a cultured species relatively intolerant of low oxygen, so pond water quality management, dissolved oxygen regulation and disease and pest control must be especially strengthened, and the use of aeration machinery increased to prevent oxygen deficiency, pond turnover and outbreaks of disease and pests.
