What fish are suitable for keeping together with guppies?

Because the guppy has a broad tail like a fan, which trails behind it when swimming very much like a peacock spreading its tail, it got the name guppy. If the keeper feels that keeping just one kind of guppy cannot satisfy the need for appreciation, then other fish can also be kept together with guppies, such as Corydoras catfish, rose fish, cherry fish, rainbow shark, black skirt tetra, silver hatchetfish, neon tetra, electric blue ram, Bolivian ram, threadfin rainbowfish, and so on.
Corydoras catfish
Corydoras catfish refers to members of three genera in the subfamily Corydoradinae: Aspidoras, Brochis, and Corydoras. Because they have two small “whiskers” beside their mouths, closely resembling little mice swimming in the water, they got the name “Corydoras catfish”. Corydoras catfish can be fed dedicated feed; of course, bloodworms and tubifex worms are their favorites, and brine shrimp also work.
Rose fish
The rose fish is distributed in the coral reef waters from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. It is carnivorous and can be fed animal-based bait as well as artificial feed. Its maximum body length can reach 10 cm. It hatches by mouthbrooding; usually the male fish takes on this task, but in some species it is the female that does it, and in others both sexes are jointly responsible.
Cherry fish
The cherry fish is classified under the subfamily Barbinae of the family Cyprinidae. Because its whole body is rose red in base color, it is also called the red rose fish. It is gentle in temperament and suitable for mixed keeping with other small tropical fish, but it has a sense of territory and will drive away intruders.
Rainbow shark
The rainbow shark, also known as the red-finned shark, has a long spindle-shaped body, slightly laterally compressed, with a forked caudal fin. Its body length can reach 12-15 cm. The fish body is light brown, and all fins are orange-red, glittering under light. It has strong adaptability and is easy to keep, preferring neutral water; it can grow well at a water temperature of 20°C. However, it is rather fierce and aggressive in temperament. Individuals of the same species often fight among themselves, and sometimes it also swallows small fish of other species, so it is best not to keep it with fish that are too small.
Black skirt tetra
The black skirt tetra is gentle in temperament and likes to gather in groups. It can be kept mixed with other small tetra fish. The keeping water temperature is 22~28°C. It likes weakly acidic soft water and tolerates low temperatures. The aquarium should have a variety of aquatic plants, and the water color should be clear and transparent. Because the fish is small and eats little, the bait particles are required to be small, with live food as the main part.
