What to do when a lamb is in a state of apparent death? Teach you the correct rescue measures

Some lambs are fully developed, but after birth they do not breathe or breathe slowly, while the heartbeat remains normal. This phenomenon is called apparent death. When this happens, as long as timely rescue is given, they can generally be revived.
There are many ways to rescue a lamb in a state of apparent death. They are generally summarized as: "Both forelimbs, hold with hands, like sawing, do repeatedly; into the nasal cavity, spray a puff of smoke, stimulate the lamb, breathing speeds up." First, quickly and completely clear the mucus or amniotic fluid inhaled into the lamb's respiratory tract, wipe the nostrils clean, then place the lamb in a position with the front low and the rear high, and immediately perform artificial respiration. Let the lamb lie on its back facing upward, hold the forelimbs, move the body, repeatedly flex and extend back and forth, and pat both sides of the lamb's chest with the hand to prompt the lamb to quickly resume breathing. You can also hold the two hind limbs with your hands, lower the head, and shake it left and right to let the mucus blocking the throat flow out. Dip a cotton ball in iodine tincture or white liquor and drip it into the nostrils, or spray smoke into the lamb's nasal cavity to revive it.
For a frozen-stiff lamb, immediately move it into a warm room for a warm-water bath. The water temperature starts at 38°C and slowly increases to 45°C. During bathing, the lamb's head should be kept above the water surface, and abdominal massage should be combined with it. Bathe in warm water for 20 to 30 minutes; after the lamb revives, dry the whole body immediately. A few thin and weak lambs can be kept in the warm room or on a heated kang to let the lamb return to normal.
When necessary, each lamb can be given an intramuscular injection of 4 to 5 ml of caffeine sodium benzoate and 4 to 6 ml of vitamin C mixed for a single injection; after returning to normal, each lamb can be given an intramuscular injection of 4 ml of aminopyrine and 1.6 million to 3.2 million units of penicillin mixed for a single injection.
