What are the key points of high-yield pig management methods?
Pork has now become an essential food for every household every day. Pork is tender and delicious, rich in protein and fat, and can meet the nutritional needs of the human body. The farming area has also reached the largest in the breeding industry. Raising pigs is easy, but achieving high yield is difficult. Pigs are easy to raise, but to achieve high yield, correct management methods are still needed. So what are the correct management methods? How should they be managed to achieve high yield? Today, the editor brings you simple management methods.

1. Strengthen ventilation
The ventilation and air permeability of the pig farm must be very good, especially in the hot and stuffy environment of summer. The environment of the pig house must have enhanced ventilation, because if the pig house is not ventilated and not air-permeable, the air will become very turbid, bacteria will multiply faster, and the reproduction speed of bacteria will accelerate. If the pig house is too stuffy and hot, pigs will have excessive reactions, causing problems such as heatstroke and fighting. Pig manure must also be cleaned up in time, otherwise it will cause poor appetite in pigs and they will begin to lose fat.
2. Pay attention to mosquito and insect prevention
Mosquitoes and insects have always been the biggest problem in the breeding industry, just like diseases and pests in the planting industry. A dirty, messy and unsanitary pig house is the environment mosquitoes and insects like most. And if there are still some wounds on the pigs, mosquitoes and insects will concentrate their attacks on the wounds, making the wounds difficult to heal, recovery slow, and even worsening, leading to infection with diseases. These disease pathogens will then be spread to other pigs through mosquitoes and insects. The pig house should be disinfected regularly, pig manure cleaned up, the pig herd watered, and injured pigs treated.
3. Temperature and humidity management
The most suitable temperature for pig growth is 15-25 degrees. If the temperature is too high, the pigs' spirit will be affected, their appetite will be affected, they will be listless and restless. In hot and dry weather, attention should be paid to cooling the pig house. If conditions permit, cooling equipment can be used, and water can also be poured into the pig house for physical cooling. But the accompanying problem is that after watering, the pig house becomes humid. The environment needed by sows and piglets is warm and dry. Being humid under high temperature weather will seriously reduce the survival rate of piglets, and this environment is also the one viruses like most. Therefore, before watering, the drainage system of the pig house must be properly handled. There must be no standing water in the pig house, ensuring both low temperature and dryness.
4. Stocking density
A pig house is divided into several pig pens. The number in each pig pen should not be too large, because overcrowded breeding will cause a series of problems such as fighting and food grabbing. Moreover, pigs themselves have a certain body temperature. Once summer comes, when pigs begin to crowd together, an obvious rise in temperature can be felt, making it difficult to control the normal body temperature of each pig. The phenomenon of food grabbing also cannot ensure the body weight of each pig. After maturity, some pigs will be small and some large, reducing value and affecting economic benefits. Therefore, the number in each pig pen absolutely must not be too dense.
What pig farming seeks is the meat on the body, but if the body weight of each pig is not properly controlled, it will affect the quoted selling price at the time of marketing. Moreover, pigs are animals that like warmth and weak light. If temperature, humidity and light intensity are not properly controlled, pig growth will be seriously affected. Everyone must manage the above four points well, so that the pigs you raise can be fat and large and achieve high yield.
