What are the taboos for mixing fertilizers

Fertilizers can be divided into acidic fertilizers, alkaline fertilizers and neutral fertilizers according to the acidity or alkalinity of their aqueous solutions. In agricultural production, some fertilizers are acidic, such as superphosphate and monopotassium phosphate; some are alkaline, such as plant ash and ammonium bicarbonate; while urea and potassium chloride are neutral fertilizers. Acidic fertilizers and alkaline fertilizers must not be mixed; once mixed, the fertilizer efficiency will be greatly reduced.

What are the taboos for mixing fertilizers

1. Urea must not be mixed with plant ash, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer or kiln ash potassium fertilizer.

2. Ammonium bicarbonate must not be mixed with plant ash, human excrement and urine, ammonium phosphate nitrate, ammonium phosphate, potassium chloride, phosphate rock powder, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, ammonium chloride or urea.

3. Superphosphate must not be mixed with plant ash, magnesium phosphate fertilizer or ash potassium fertilizer.

4. Monopotassium phosphate must not be mixed with plant ash, magnesium phosphate fertilizer or ash potassium fertilizer.

5. Ammonium sulfate must not be mixed with ammonium bicarbonate, ammonia water, plant ash or kiln ash potassium fertilizer.

6. Ammonium chloride must not be mixed with plant ash, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer or kiln ash potassium fertilizer.

7. Ammonium nitrate must not be mixed with plant ash, ammonia water, kiln ash potassium fertilizer, fresh barnyard manure or compost.

8. Ammonia water must not be mixed with human excrement and urine, plant ash, potassium-nitrogen compound fertilizer, ammonium phosphate, potassium chloride, phosphate rock powder, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, ammonium chloride, urea, ammonium bicarbonate or superphosphate.

9. Ammonium phosphate nitrate must not be mixed with compost, grass fertilizer, barnyard manure or plant ash.

10. Phosphate rock powder must not be mixed with ammonium phosphate.

11. Human and livestock excrement and urine must not be mixed with plant ash or kiln ash potassium fertilizer.
