The following introduces several methods for applying potassium sulfate compound fertilizer to vegetables for reference:
Cucumber: For a general high-yield cucumber field, apply 5000 kg of high-quality organic fertilizer and 50 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu as base fertilizer. The principle for topdressing is small amounts applied frequently, with a total topdressing amount of about 50 kg. Topdressing should be applied by flushing with water, once every half month, alternating urea and potassium sulfate compound fertilizer, with each application at 10-15 kg per mu.

Green onion: Before planting, prepare the land and apply 5000 kg of organic fertilizer and 30-40 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu. After the Start of Autumn, apply 1 topdressing of leaf-promoting fertilizer, with 25-30 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu; after the End of Heat, apply 20-30 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer; from White Dew to the Autumn Equinox, apply 10-15 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer and 5 kg of urea.

Onion: In combination with plowing and land preparation, apply 2000-3000 kg of high-quality decomposed farmyard manure and 40-50 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu. After the beginning of spring, when the plants enter the period of vigorous growth, topdressing may be applied 1-2 times, generally with 15-20 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu. When the small bulbs enlarge to about 3 cm, topdressing should be applied promptly, with 700-1000 kg of decomposed manure or 10-15 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu. When the bulbs continue to grow to 4-5 cm, apply chemical fertilizer again, with 15-20 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu.

Pepper: In combination with land preparation, apply 5000 kg of fully decomposed high-quality farmyard manure and 40-50 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu. The first topdressing is after the plants survive transplanting, with 8-10 kg of urea per mu. The second is when the plants are budding, with 10-15 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu. The third topdressing is applied when the first cluster of fruits begins to swell, with 10-15 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu applied in bands or holes, followed by watering. The fourth is applied during the peak fruiting period, combined with watering, with 10-15 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu.

Chinese cabbage (cabbage): When plowing and preparing the land, apply 2500-3000 kg of fully decomposed organic fertilizer and 25 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu. Fertilize at the seedling stage, rosette stage, early heading stage and mid-heading stage, with 25-30 kg of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer per mu for topdressing, among which heavy fertilization is carried out at the early heading stage, with the application rate being 3 times that of other periods. Before the cabbage rows close, it may be applied in furrows; after the rows close, it may be flushed with water.
