Tea Plant Cultivation Techniques: How to Apply Topdressing in a Tea Garden Scientifically?

How should topdressing be applied in a tea garden? Please provide an introduction to the method. A tea garden can refer to the following methods for topdressing: 1. Applying it as topdressing. In early spring, during the picking period, using nitro compound fertilizer as topdressing takes effect quickly and shows remarkable results. Compared with urea, urea after broadcast application takes 7~10 days to take effect, has a single nutrient component, and is prone to ammonia volatilization loss to a fairly large extent, with low utilization efficiency and delayed effect, so it cannot achieve the ideal yield-increasing effect; switching to binary nitro compound fertilizer, after broadcast application it can begin to take effect in 3~4 days, has a nutrient composition that is not single (contains "dual nitrogen" plus phosphorus), has small volatilization loss, and has very high utilization efficiency, making it an excellent choice for promoting high yield of spring bud tea. It is recommended that during the spring tea picking period, apply once at an interval of 8~10 days, with a dosage of 15 kg per mu each time; apply 5~7 times in total.

A tea garden can refer to the following methods for topdressing:
        1. Applying it as topdressing  In early spring, during the picking period, using nitro compound fertilizer as topdressing takes effect quickly and shows remarkable results.
         2. Applying it after light pruning in late May  For young tea gardens (about three years old), in order to cultivate tree vigor and form a high-yielding canopy, shaping pruning is generally carried out in late May of the national calendar, that is, after the spring tea picking ends. At this time, taking advantage of the opportunity after pruning to open furrows for fertilizer application, open a fertilizer furrow about 4~5 cun wide and about 3 cun deep along the drip line at the edge of the tea canopy, use 35~40 kg of ternary nitro compound fertilizer and 30 kg of rapeseed cake meal per mu, apply them in the furrow and then cover with soil. This fully uses the climatic characteristics of high temperatures, sufficient rainfall, and vigorous tea plant shoot growth in the three months of June, July, and August to prompt the tea canopy to form earlier.
         3. For a tea garden of about 10 years, during the summer and autumn picking period, at an interval of about 15 days, applying 12 kg of binary nitro compound fertilizer per mu each time as topdressing is sufficient. Note: when applying topdressing, be sure not to choose a time when there is dew to broadcast it; even when applying it on a sunny or cloudy day, you should also carry a bamboo pole with you to knock and flick down the granules remaining on the canopy surface. It is best to bend down and apply it to the ground inside the canopy, so as to avoid burning the tender buds and leaves.
