For controlling yellowing disease in large-leaf gardenia, you can refer to the following two methods:

  Use management methods for control:
Grow it in well-drained, loose, fertile acidic soil, replace the potting soil once every 1 to 2 years, use organic fertilizer, and mix ferrous sulfate and zinc sulfate into the organic fertilizer when it is being composted.

  Use chemicals for control:
In the early stage of the disease, water the diseased plants with 2% to 3% ferrous sulfate, or spray the leaves with 0.1% to 0.2% ferrous sulfate, or use iron chelate in the soil. Treating yellowing disease with chemicals should be done in the early stage of the disease, otherwise the effect is poor.
