What are the functions and effects of water-soluble humic acid fertilizers

Introduction to water-soluble fertilizer knowledge: Water-soluble fertilizers are more easily absorbed by crops. "Water-soluble fertilizer refers to a multi-element compound fertilizer that can completely dissolve in water. Compared with traditional varieties such as superphosphate and granulated compound fertilizer, water-soluble fertilizer has obvious advantages. Its main features are low dosage, convenient use,...
The extraction (or extraction) of humic acid and fulvic acid refers to the process of separating humic acid (fulvic acid) from raw materials using solvents such as strong alkaline solutions, neutral salts, organic acid salts, organic solvents and organic chelates. Through technical conditions (acidification, sulfonation, nitration, degradation, oxidation, etc.), the chemical and biological activity of humic acid (fulvic acid) is improved and enhanced.

Water-soluble humic acid generally refers to fulvic acid, or the portion of the monovalent salts of humic acid, nitrohumic acid and fulvic acid that can dissolve in water.

Characteristics of water-soluble humic acid fertilizers

Water Soluble Fertilizer (WSF) refers to a multi-element compound fertilizer that can completely dissolve in water, with notable advantages such as instant dissolution, high absorption rate, quick effect, no residue and convenient application. Water-soluble humic acid fertilizer refers to a liquid or solid water-soluble fertilizer made from humic acid in proportions suitable for plant growth, with the addition of appropriate amounts of major elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, or trace elements such as zinc, boron, iron, molybdenum, manganese and copper. Water-soluble humic acid fertilizer is dissolved or diluted in water and used for fertigation, foliar fertilization, soilless cultivation, seed soaking and root dipping, etc. Its characteristics are:

First, the new type of fertilizer formed by purifying water-soluble humic acid with modern technology and compounding it with major, medium, trace and special elements has significant effects, providing favorable guarantees for producing green and healthy food, reducing environmental pollution and lowering farmers' production costs.

Second, water-soluble humic acid fertilizer can greatly increase nitrogen, release phosphorus and promote potassium in the soil, cultivate soil fertility and promote crop root development.

Third, water-soluble humic acid fertilizer is widely suitable for food crops, cash crops, oil crops and flowers, etc., with a wide range of applicable crops and a wide range of application concentrations.

Fourth, water-soluble humic acid fertilizer has a reasonable nutrient combination and a synergistic nutritional effect, and can greatly reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers and pesticides used.

Fifth, water-soluble humic acid fertilizer is economical, safe, convenient and efficient.

Water-soluble humic acid fertilizer can be a multi-element compound. Among them, major element type products are divided into solid or liquid forms, while trace element type products are only in solid dosage form.

Integration of humic acid with bulk fertilizers

As an integrator with bulk fertilizers, humic acid can integrate N, P and K, in single-element integration, two-element integration or three-element integration, such as humic acid nitrogen fertilizer, humic acid phosphorus fertilizer, humic acid potassium fertilizer and humic acid compound fertilizer. The integration of humic acid with N, P and K has the characteristics of flexibility and diversity, prominent functions, significant synergy and high utilization rate, and can achieve an integrated effect of 1+1>2.

The organic combination of humic acid and nitrogen fertilizer forms a humic acid nitrogen fertilizer with both quick-acting and slow-release properties, reducing nitrogen fertilizer loss and the ammonia pollution caused by it. Humic acid provides a 10% increase in nitrogen utilization rate, and can increase crop yield by more than 15%.

The combination of humic acid and phosphorus fertilizer can reduce phosphorus fixation and improve phosphorus utilization rate. At the same time, when humic acid enters the soil, it can also activate phosphorus that has already been fixed in the soil, increasing the soil's phosphorus supply level. The increase in phosphorus supply from the combination of the two is generally 6.7-8.3 mg/kg, and humic acid compound phosphorus fertilizer can increase crop yield by more than 10%.

The organic combination of humic acid and potassium fertilizer forms a humic acid potassium fertilizer with both quick-acting and slow-release properties, and even the combination of humic acid with potassium ions (K+) is firmer than that of humic acid with ammonium ions (NH4+). The water solubility of humic acid potassium is very good, and it will not limit plant absorption, only making the fertilizer effect more lasting. Relevant studies show that humic acid can increase crop potassium uptake by more than 30% and increase yield by more than 12%.

Integration of humic acid with specialty fertilizers

Combined with the characteristics of humic acid itself, varieties such as specialty fertilizers for field crops, specialty fertilizers for cash crops, specialty fertilizers for flower cultivation and seedling-raising substrates can be developed.

The development of functional fertilizers has become an urgent need for agricultural production. Water-soluble fertilizers made by using humic acid to chelate selenium, zinc, magnesium, etc., are used to cultivate and produce products such as shiitake mushrooms, apples and rice rich in the above elements, which not only taste good but are also easy to absorb, and play an important role in enhancing immunity.

Registration of water-soluble humic acid fertilizers

As of March 2012, a total of 1,292 water-soluble humic acid products had been registered with the Ministry of Agriculture (including 276 with "Agricultural Fertilizer Approval Number" and 1,016 with "Agricultural Fertilizer Temporary Number"). Suitable vegetable crops include three major categories: leafy vegetables and stalk vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, spinach, bok choy, asparagus, Chinese kale, mustard and cabbage; solanaceous fruits and cucurbits such as watermelon, melon, cucumber, pepper and tomato; and root vegetables and tuber crops such as carrot and potato. In addition, it involves field crops such as rice, corn and wheat; cash crops such as cotton, soybean, peanut, sugar beet, rapeseed, garlic, goji berry, tea and tobacco; and thousands of varieties in fruit categories such as strawberry, grape, jujube, pear, longan and citrus; involving 845 enterprises in 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
