Succulent feed for dairy cows effectively increases milk yield

dairy cows
To increase the milk yield of dairy cows, feeding them succulent feed is an extremely important technical measure.
Sugar beet: The dry matter of sugar beet contains 5%-6% sugars, 1%-2% protein, 1.7% crude fiber, and about 9% nitrogen-free extract. Before feeding, it should first be washed clean and chopped, and each dairy cow can be fed 30 kg-40 kg per day. Sugar beet feed must not be stored for too long, so as to avoid the formation of nitrite and cause poisoning in dairy cows.
Sugar beet pulp: Fresh sugar beet pulp contains 90% water, 0.9% crude protein, 0.1% crude fat, 2.6% crude fiber, and 3.5% nitrogen-free extract, but it does not contain carotene or vitamin D. Feeding sugar beet pulp can provide dairy cows with the necessary filler. Each dairy cow can be fed 3 kg-5 kg of sugar beet pulp per day.
Potato: Potato contains an average of 22% dry matter, 1.6% crude protein, 0.1% crude fat, 0.7% crude fiber, and 18.7% nitrogen-free extract. Every 3.5 kg-4 kg of potato is equivalent to 1 kg of cereal material, and about 80% of its dry matter is starch, which is easy to digest, but it lacks methionine, calcium, phosphorus and carotene, among others; it is a typical water-rich carbohydrate concentrate and is also one of the main feeds for dairy cows. Feed each dairy cow 20 kg-26 kg per day, and be careful to include protein, mineral and vitamin supplements in the daily ration.
