To store chemical fertilizers, you can refer to the following methods:
        1. If conditions permit, store them in a separate warehouse; the warehouse should be dry, ventilated, cool, and protected from light, and should have appropriate fire-fighting equipment.

         2. All kinds of chemical fertilizers in the warehouse should be stored separately, with fertilizers of the same nature kept together; leave a certain distance between different varieties of chemical fertilizers as a passage, so as to prevent chemical changes from contact with one another, or taking and using them by mistake.

         3. Acidic fertilizers such as ammonium nitrate, ammonium bicarbonate, and zinc chloride should not be stacked together with alkaline fertilizers such as lime and plant ash, or mixed for application, so as to prevent chemical changes that reduce fertilizer efficiency.

         4. For highly volatile ammonium bicarbonate, it must be tightly packaged and sealed. If the packaging bag has gaps or is damaged, it should be repaired promptly.

         5. For ammonium nitrate, which is highly hygroscopic and flammable, be sure to place it in a cool, dry place, with round logs or wooden boards underneath, and do not put it together with items such as diesel, alcohol, and paper. At the same time, pay attention to fire prevention. Once chemical fertilizer absorbs moisture and cakes, do not strike it violently, so as to avoid an explosion; when moving and placing it, prevent violent vibration.

          6. Superphosphate contains a relatively large amount of free acid and is highly corrosive; do not leave it in burlap sacks for a long time, and do not put it together with alkaline fertilizers.

          7. Urea is also highly hygroscopic and belongs to neutral fertilizers; it should also be stored separately, and be sure to place it in a ventilated, dry place.

         8. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides should not be stored together; pesticides will decompose and lose effectiveness when they come into contact with alkaline chemical fertilizers. At the same time, pesticide packaging bags must not be used to hold chemical fertilizers, or chemical fertilizer bags to hold pesticides, so as to avoid using pesticides and chemical fertilizers by mistake.
