How to prevent and treat hemorrhage disease when carp bodies show congestion

    In the early stage of carp hemorrhage disease, the carp's mouth, gill cover, eye socket, fins and body show symptoms of congestion; in severe cases, the eyeballs protrude, the abdomen swells and becomes red and swollen, the gill filaments rot, and the skin, liver and kidneys become enlarged. Carp hemorrhage disease develops quickly and has a high mortality rate, and it can be epidemic throughout the year.

Carp farming

    Prevention:

    1. Thorough pond clearing: quicklime 70-100 kg/mu, or bleaching powder 20‰.

    2. Regulate water quality regularly. Starting from mid-April, every 20 days, splash 20-25 kg of quicklime per mu of carp pond; in July-August, during the epidemic period of carp hemorrhage disease, splash once every 15 days.

    3. During the disease season, do not seine or seine less, isolate the water source of diseased carp ponds from that of unaffected ponds, promptly remove dead carp and diseased carp and bury them deep underground, and fishing gear must be disinfected before use.

    Treatment: combine external disinfection with oral administration.

    External disinfection:

    1. Bleaching powder 1.0-1.5 g per cubic meter of carp pond, splashed over the whole pond.

    2. A mixture of trichlorfon and potassium permanganate, splashed over the whole pond, making the pond water reach 0.5-0.8 ppm and 0.8 ppm respectively.

    3. 0.3-0.4 ppm strong chlorine essence, splashed over the whole pond.

    4. High-efficiency water body disinfectant 300-400 g per mu of carp pond, splashed over the whole pond for three consecutive days.

   Oral administration:

    1. Norfloxacin: add 200 g of the drug per ton of carp feed, feed continuously for 3-5 days.

    2. Chloramphenicol: add 500-1000 g of the drug per ton of carp feed, feed continuously for three to five days.

    3. Youyi medicated feed No. 3, feed to carp continuously for 3-5 days.
