Rabbits Consume a Lot of Energy in Summer; Ways to Fatten Up Thin Rabbits in Autumn
Rabbits that have gone through the summer are mostly weak and thin. After the beginning of autumn, promptly increase feed to promote fattening, so as to improve the rabbits' disease resistance and production performance. Methods for fattening thin rabbits in autumn:

Rabbit
1. For rabbits with rough, messy fur and poor spirits: take an appropriate amount of tea leaves, along with 15 grams each of Boshanxian (sarcandra) and honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica), decoct into a juice for oral administration, twice a day, 10~15 milliliters per rabbit each time, for 3~5 consecutive days, with marked effect.
2. Dissolve 5~7 grams of white sugar per rabbit per day in warm water and let the rabbit drink it freely. After 15~20 days of administration, the rabbit will regain its fat.
3. Take 10 grams each of red dates and brown sugar, and 8 grams of angelica (Angelica sinensis), decoct into a juice and feed to the rabbit, once a day, for 7~10 consecutive days.
4. Take 50 grams of fresh celery, 10 grams of lard, and 0.5 grams of salt, stir-fry until cooked and feed to the rabbit, once a day, for 7 consecutive days.
5. Take 5~10 grams of glossy privet fruit (Ligustrum lucidum), grind into powder, mix into the feed, and feed to the rabbit once, for 15~20 consecutive days.
6. For fattening old rabbits: take 2 grams of yellow vitex seed (Vitex negundo) and 1.5 grams of flavescent sophora root (Sophora flavescens, fried until yellow), grind together into a fine powder, mix into the feed and feed, once a day, for 15 consecutive days.
7. Take 10 grams each of barley malt and male fern rhizome (Dryopteris crassirhizoma), and 15 grams of fleeceflower root (Polygonum multiflorum), grind together into powder. Use 2 grams of the medicine per kilogram of rabbit body weight, mix into the feed and feed, once in the morning and once in the evening, for 15~20 consecutive days. This formula is suitable for thin rabbits caused by parasites or chronic indigestion.
Rabbit
8. Mix thoroughly 50% cinnamon powder, 20% dried ginger powder, 9% licorice powder, 7% star anise powder, 6% soybean powder (stir-fried until cooked), and 8% ferrous sulfate, then mix into the feed, add an appropriate amount of water and mix well. Use 3 grams per rabbit per day, feed once every other day. After 15 days, the rabbit will regain its fat.
9. Take 25 grams of ginger powder, 50 grams of cinnamon, 10 grams each of licorice and ferrous sulfate, and 9 grams of star anise, grind together into a fine powder. Give each rabbit 2~3 grams per time, once a day, for 7~10 consecutive days. The fattening effect is obvious.
10. Take 5 grams each of the traditional Chinese medicines leiwant (Omphalia lapidescens), tangerine peel, cyperus rhizome (Cyperus rotundus), and magnolia bark (Magnolia officinalis), and 12 grams of hawthorn, grind together into a fine powder, mix into the feed, or take 5 grams of the medicinal powder and directly mix with water for oral administration, once a day. For thin rabbits without disease, results can be seen after 7 days of administration.
