Chicken lice hinder chicken production, how to eliminate chicken lice in autumn and winter

Chicken
Treating lice with baijiu:Dip a cotton ball in baijiu and apply it to the sites where chicken lice are parasitic; 3—4 times can cure it completely.
Dusting and sprinkling powder:Use 2-3% pyrethrum powder or 5% sulfur powder and sprinkle it directly under the chicken's wings, on the inner sides of both legs, chest, abdomen and other parasitic sites to kill chicken lice.
Treating lice with vegetable oil:Take 250 grams of vegetable oil and 250 grams of edible vinegar, mix well, then apply to the sites where chicken lice are parasitic, once each morning and evening, for two consecutive days, and it can be cured.
Eliminating lice with laundry detergent:The aqueous solution of laundry detergent has the effect of removing the waxy layer on the surface of the insect body and blocking the spiracles, which can cause the insects to suffocate and die. Therefore, washing the chicken body with a 1—2% laundry detergent aqueous solution has a good effect on killing chicken lice.
Treating lice with mothballs:When chicken lice are found, depending on the chicken house or the size of the chickens, first use several small pieces of cloth to wrap different numbers of mothballs separately, then fix them in the corners and on the roof of the chicken house, and after about 7 days the chicken lice in the chicken house can be eliminated. For chicken lice on the chickens themselves, the wrapped mothballs can be tied under the chickens' wings; two per chicken is enough, and one is enough for a chick, and within 2-3 days the lice can be completely expelled.
Treating lice with insecticide: Insecticide contains 10 mg of ivermectin per milliliter and is a safe and highly effective drug for preventing and controlling chicken lice. The suitable dose is 0.2 mg of 1% insecticide per kilogram of body weight, injected subcutaneously on the inner side of the wing, with a second injection after an interval of 10 days; generally two times can cure it.
Treating lice with camphor balls:Crush and grind camphor balls into powder, and at night when the chickens go to roost, evenly sprinkle it inside the chicken house. After 4 days, check the chickens' bodies. If live lice are still found, the same method can be used with an increased amount, and the lice in the chicken house and on the chickens' bodies can be eliminated. If there are many lice on the chickens' bodies, a small amount of camphor powder can also be sprinkled into the chicken feathers for a better effect.
