The pistachio nut, you must know it; if not, then let me tell you what kind of nut it is. Pistachio, also known as green kernel fruit, is a dried fruit. It looks a bit like ginkgo, but because it is often cracked with a split, it differs from ginkgo. Pistachio is the fruit of Pistacia vera, in the cashew family (Anacardiaceae), genus Pistacia. You can also look at the picture below.

Where is pistachio suitable for planting? Pistachio grows at the edge of deserts and has long been known as "desert green gold". Its place of origin is Iran; currently the main producing area is California, with an annual output of about 170 million pounds.

Why does no one grow pistachio? Pistachio has strong adaptability, but only the Xinjiang region can let it bear fruit, because of issues such as climate and soil. The main reason is that the main condition for pistachio to bear fruit is a particularly large temperature difference, so many regions in our country cannot meet the requirements for pistachio to bear fruit; only very few areas in Xinjiang can meet them. This is also an important factor restricting pistachio from being grown in large quantities. There is also the fact that its yield is very low; the profit is large, but it is very difficult to grow, so very few people in our country grow pistachio.
