There are eight key tips for feeding and management of fattening pigs!

Today I will tell you some points to note in the feeding and management of fattening pigs. Raising big, plump, white fattening pigs is not such a simple matter! Save these eight key tips now~

    1. One week before entering the pen, the pen should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and the feed troughs and drinking water equipment should be checked to see whether they meet the requirements.

    2. According to individual differences and size, divide the pigs into groups reasonably. The principle for grouping is to take the large and keep the small, and keep the weak rather than the strong.

    3. Maintain appropriate stocking density, with no more than 10 pigs per pen, avoid overcrowding, and prevent pigs from biting ears and tails.

    4. Provide complete compound feed with comprehensive nutrition at each stage.

    5. Insist on disinfecting once a week and provide sufficient drinking water.

    6. When transferring in piglets, the pigs should be trained to defecate and urinate at fixed points, keep the pen clean and dry, and at the same time ensure that the humidity and temperature in the pen are suitable for the pigs' growth.

    7. Inspect the pigs' health every day. Remove pigs with poor development or a body weight difference of 20% and raise them in single pens.

    8. Internal deworming should be carried out once every three months.
