Equipment for Regulating Temperature and Humidity in an Orchid Greenhouse

Artificialcultivationorchids, the ecological environment has changed greatly, so effective measures must be taken to cool down and prevent heatstroke in summer, keep warm and prevent cold in winter, and at the same time regulate the relative air humidity in the orchid room, creating a suitableorchidgrowing microclimate. Specifically, the following measures can be taken: (1) Install movable shade nets to control the amount of light in the orchid room and regulate the orchid room temperature. That is, a layer of movable shade net with a shading rate of 75%-80% should be installed on both the inner and outer tops of the orchid room. Under normal circumstances, it is enough to use one layer of shade net on the outdoor roof. In midsummer, when the light is strong and the indoor and outdoor temperatures are high, both layers of shade nets should be used at the same time. On cloudy and rainy days, neither should be used, so as to ensure a certain amount of diffused light in the orchid room. In winter, shade less or not at all, increase light, and raise the orchid room temperature. In addition, a layer of vertical curtain-style movable shade net should also be installed on each of the east and west sides of the orchid room to prevent sunlight from shining directly on the orchid seedlings from the side. (2) Install ventilation and exhaust facilities to lower the orchid room temperature. Through ventilation and exhaust, the hot air in the room is removed and fresh air is brought in, which can not only lower the orchid room temperature, but also reduce the occurrence of orchid fungalpests and diseases. Under normal circumstances, relevant ventilation fans should be installed on the north-south or east-west sides, with one high and one low corresponding to each other, so that hot air is discharged from the high position and fresh air is supplied from the low position, forming convection and lowering the room temperature. (3) Install spray facilities to lower the orchid room temperature and increase the air humidity in the orchid room. Generally, an atomizing sprayer or spray humidifier can be configured. Timely spraying and humidifying can achieve the effect of cooling and preventing heatstroke. Because water absorbs a large amount of heat energy when it evaporates, the temperature in the orchid room can be noticeably lowered. (4) Line the ground under the orchid pot racks in the orchid room with water-holding facilities, or spread a 3 cm thick layer of river sand or charcoal and fill it with water, which can also significantly increase the humidity in the orchid room. If economic conditions are better, equipping the orchid room with automatic temperature and humidity control facilities would be even more ideal.
