Radical cure of orchid viral disease with Banlangen tablets has remarkable effect

Orchidviral disease, also known as Bailasi disease, its pathogen is not bacteria, nor fungi, but a disease caused by a virus that is highly harmful and very difficult to cure radically, and is calledorchid"AIDS" and "cancer". It not only spreads but is also inherited, and at present there is still no way to prevent or cure it. Once infected, an entire patch oforchid plantssuffers devastating losses. Ten years ago, when I first entered the orchid world, I encountered just such a disaster. In this struggle against the disaster, through exploration I found that medical-grade Banlangen tablets, used to spray the leaves and water the roots, can radically cureorchidviral disease, thus opening up an effective path for the prevention and control of orchidFloraldiseases and insect pests. I now briefly introduce it to fellow orchid growers for reference. In the mid-1990s, I began learningto grow orchids. After about half a year of growing them, on the new leaves of a pot of Daxuesu I had purchased, I found several milky-white spots, with borders like water stains formed when water drops spread on highly absorbent paper, lusterless and slightly translucent. On the leaves of two small shoots it had sent out, each 10 cm tall, the same kind of spots also appeared. At that time I did not know it was a disease, and mistook it for a variation in the orchid seedlings, so I was delighted for quite a while and gave them preferential management such as extra fertilization. It was only because the orchid seedlings grew worse and worse, the water-colored tint faded, the spots became sunken, the front and back of the spots appeared grayish-green and transparent, the spot bodies had no other-colored speckles interspersed within them, and when held up to strong light they appeared lusterless, wrinkled and shrunken. Only then did I realize it might be caused by disease, so I used Baiyinqing, carbendazim, copper hydroxide, prochloraz, and tebuconazole and other pesticides in rotation, spraying the leaves once every three days, and after spraying more than ten times in succession, there was still no improvement. Instead, the orchid leaves became even more shrunken. Over the course of half a year, the entire pot of Daxuesu gradually withered and died completely, from the old plants down to the small ones. What was even more serious was that not long after I disposed of that pot of diseased, dead Daxuesu, on the new leaves of more than ten pots of Daxuesu,Lianbansu, Chunlan and plain-flowered tiger orchid placed around it, those disease spots also appeared one after another, indicating that they had been infected by the disease. If not controlled in time, the orchids bought for tens of thousands of yuan would be at risk of being ruined. In order to clarify the condition and prescribe the right medicine, I actively consulted experienced senior orchid growers. Under their guidance, it was confirmed that the orchids had viral disease, and that the pesticides previously used were only effective against orchid diseases caused by bacteria or fungi, and had no effect on viral disease. But as for what medication could prevent and control this disease, everyone was also unsure. Guided by the mentality of seeking any treatment when ill, I once used ribavirin and aspirin solution to spray the leaves seven or eight times, but there was still no improvement. After extensively consulting materials, I finally saw in the book *100 Questions on GrowingOrchidsat Home* Mr. Xu Dongsheng's suggestion: "You may try two or three of the Chinese herbal medicines Banlangen, honeysuckle, Dryopteris crassirhizoma, skullcap, gardenia, Andrographis paniculata, etc., boil them in water, dilute, and spray and water." I thought these Chinese herbal medicines are effective drugs used to treat people's colds, myocarditis, and meningitis caused by viral infection, so they might be effective in preventing and controlling orchid viral disease, and moreover, ready-made Banlangen tablets were available in pharmacies (sugar-coated tablets do not dissolve easily, so they were not chosen). After buying the Banlangen tablets back, at a ratio of 2 tablets per 100 mL of water, I made a basin of Banlangen solution. I took the upper clear liquid portion and put it into a sprayer, and thoroughly sprayed the leaves of the entire orchid plant; I took the remaining portion mixed with residue and poured 100-200 mL at the roots of the diseased orchid pots. This was done once every three days, for a total of seven times. After that, it was changed to once a week, and done three more times. A total of ten times were carried out. At this point, the miracle finally appeared: the disease spots on the orchid leaves in the orchid shed gradually faded. Before long, the haggard leaf color gradually turned emerald green, and the growth was vigorous. The newly sprouted small shoots grew well. Until now, seven or eight years have passed, and no orchid has been found infected with viral disease again. The above successful case of preventing and controlling orchid viral disease proves that medical-grade Banlangen can indeed effectively radically cure orchid viral disease. OrchidFloral"AIDS" and "cancer" are no longer incurable diseases. If any fellow orchid grower's orchid plants are infected with this disease, you might as well give it a try.
