How to use agents to promote sprouting

1. Root-promoting agents also have a sprout-inducing effect: if you have already soaked the plants to promote rooting using diluted solutions of Chugensheng, Jialanbao, and Lanjunwang, there is no need to use a sprout-inducing agent again. This is because root-promoting agents also have the effect of inducing sprouts. 2. Dedicated sprout-inducing agent: a sprout-inducing agent made in the United States can promote rapid sprouting of Chinese orchids and extremely rapid rooting in a short time. Using this agent can enhance the growth vitality of young sprouts, cause the sprout leaves to increase in number, width, and thickness, grow robustly, and can overcomeorchidsthe difficulty of growth during the dormant period. Its usage is as follows: (1) Spot-apply to the sprout growth point on the base of the pseudobulb: dilute the sprout-inducing agent 2 times, then use a degreased cotton swab to dip the diluted sprout-inducing agent and spot-apply it to the sprout growth point at the base of the pseudobulb, applying once a week for 3 to 4 consecutive times, and new sprouts will grow. (2) Cover the old plant bulbs with soaked agent: soak degreased cotton or sphagnum moss in the diluted sprout-inducing agent for a moment, take it out and cover it on the old plant bulbs, repeating once a week for 3 to 4 consecutive times, and new sprouts will germinate. (3) Puncture the pseudobulb and then apply the agent: use a sterilized needle to scratch the leafless pseudobulb, or deeply pierce the pseudobulb, then spot-apply the undiluted sprout-inducing agent to the scratched or pierced area. After the undiluted solution dries, cover the wound with an alcohol cotton ball to protect it. Apply the agent once a week for 3 to 4 consecutive times, and new sprouts will germinate. 3. Watering with aspirin solution to promote sprouting: dilute medical antipyretic-analgesic aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) 2000 times, and water the orchid plants once every half month for two consecutive times, which has an obvious effect of promoting roots and inducing sprouts. If mixed with 1500 times diluted monopotassium phosphate solution, the effect is even better. (Xu Dongsheng)
