What are the precautions for using organic liquid fertilizer?

Precautions for organic liquid fertilizer

1. Fermentation foam: When organic liquid fertilizer ferments, the foam is abundant and coarse in the early stage, then gradually decreases and becomes finer toward the end. After three weeks of fermentation, it should have a mellow, sauce-like aroma to be considered fully matured. 2. Identifying microbial strains: On the market, there are deceptive practices of selling yeast as soil microorganisms and boasting of them as powerful microbes because they produce large amounts of carbon monoxide bubbles during fermentation. In fact, with complete comprehensive microorganisms, as a result of mutual support and coexistence, the substances produced by each microbial strain can mostly be utilized by other strains. Fully active photosynthetic bacteria can use carbon dioxide to synthesize glucose, rather than letting carbon dioxide escape in the form of bubbles. The more complete the microbial community in a microbial source, the fewer bubbles it produces. 3. Carbon-to-nitrogen ratio: Generally, highly nutritious materials contain relatively high nitrogen fertilizer, such as eggs and blood meal. During fermentation, sufficient carbon sources (such as molasses, black sugar, and starchy substances) must be provided for fermentation to proceed smoothly, but too much molasses (above 20%) will have an adverse effect on some microorganisms. 4. Quality of fish essence: Fish meat is organic matter, insoluble in water, and has a fishy smell. After full fermentation, the fish meat is decomposed into small water-soluble molecules, and the components causing the fishy smell are also decomposed and destroyed, losing their strong odor. Fully fermented fish essence is a liquid with good fluidity, with the fishy smell almost entirely gone and a mellow, sauce-like aroma. What appears as a paste-like substance with a fishy smell is fish paste, not fish essence. When using it, it must be "re-fermented" before use; otherwise, it will cause the harm of "raw fertilizer."
