What beneficial microorganisms are present in the growth of Chinese orchids
Beneficial microorganisms in the growth of Chinese orchids
Applying organic fertilizers to improve the physical properties of the medium, supply the nutrients needed for Chinese orchid growth, improve the acid-base reaction of the medium, increase the application rate of chemical fertilizers, and enhance the quality and yield of Chinese orchids all depend on the assistance and cooperation of beneficial microorganisms to smoothly achieve nutrient cycling and supply sufficient nutrients for Chinese orchids to absorb and use. The beneficial microorganisms in the Chinese orchid medium directly or indirectly affect Chinese orchid growth, including:
(1) Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria Series: fix nitrogen molecules from nature as a nitrogen source, producing fertilizer components.
(2) Nitrifying Bacteria Series: convert toxic ammonia gas into nitrate nitrogen for plant absorption.
(3) Phosphoric acid Releasing Series: unlock insoluble phosphates in the soil, converting them into phosphorus, iron and calcium fertilizers.
(4) Yeast group Series: produce vitamins, growth promoters, decompose organic matter, and increase disease resistance.
(5) Lactobacillus Series: secrete organic acids to improve plant disease resistance.
(6) Photosynthetic Bacteria Series: produce glucose, enhance sweetness and color. Eliminate toxic substances such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia gas (detoxification and fertilizer production).
(7) Streptomyces Series: secrete sufficient antibiotics over the long term to suppress diseases.
(8) Growth Factors Producing Bacteria Series: secrete sufficient plant growth hormones over the long term to promote vigorous growth of roots, stems and leaves.
Therefore, during the growth process of Chinese orchids, if beneficial microorganisms can be provided timely and in appropriate amounts to help Chinese orchids increase nutrient absorption, root formation, root group development, root tip extension, as well as protect the root group from pathogens, nematodes and other harm, improve the ability and function of root tissue to absorb water and nutrients and of leaves to carry out photosynthesis, and enhance the ability of Chinese orchids to resist harsh or adverse environmental influences, then it is possible to cultivate Chinese orchid endeavors that are healthier and stronger generation after generation, more advanced generation after generation, better the more they are grown, and more confident the more they are grown.
Through frequent contact with orchid friends, in conversation we explore together the Chinese orchid growth environment, fertilizer management, pests and diseasesprevention and control andcultivationmanagement and other measures and countermeasures that must be taken. I have learned that domestic orchid friends have a relatively high demand for information on Chinese orchidcultivationmanagement, and over these past dozen years, through field operations on this 150 mu of land, only then could I gain a deeper understanding oforchid'scultivationmanagement and participate in it practically, and personally conduct experiments and observations of various cultivation management practices.
Chinese orchid cultivation is an important subject that domestic orchid friends must continuously research and explore. I now present my humble views based on my own practical experience in cultivation, which can only serve as a reference for domestic orchid friends in their routine cultivation management. In the entire growth process of Chinese orchids, there are many factors affecting their normal growth and development, and one cannot assume that focusing only on fertilizer management will produce ideal results. Any factor that may hinder the growth of Chinese orchids must be considered, overcome and eliminated, giving Chinese orchids the best growth environment and the best cultivation management, so as to cultivate good results and create satisfactory economic benefits.
