About the Techniques for Using "Streptomycin" in Orchid Cultivation

I want to highlight a good, affordable and practical product. First, let me make it clear that I am neither a manufacturer nor a distributor: I have been using streptomycin since last year, and it works very well forsoft rotdisease prevention. Last year, not a single one of myorchidplantssoft rotshowed any sign of the disease. To be honest, this has a lot to do with the effectiveness of this product. Maybe I used it relatively properly, or maybe there were other factors. My method for using "agricultural streptomycin" is: fill a small plastic scoop from Hyponex No. 5 (level, slightly heaped) and dilute in 1 kg of water, then spray the entireorchidplant and the orchid room. Sometimes I mix it with "Chongmanguang" (a biological preparation for killing mites and scale insects) or "Jialanbao", Hyponex No. 5 and other acidic fertilizers and pesticides. Of course, when mixing agents, the ratio must not be vague - it strictly follows the instructions. I often use this product in a three-in-one combination, such as: agricultural streptomycin * Chongmanguang * Jialanbao or Lanjunwang, Hyponex No. 5. The purpose is to complete pest control, sterilization and fertilizing at the same time, reducing workload without affecting effectiveness. The main principle is alternating medication. Used this way, the results are good! It is also very safe for weak and small seedlings. My method for using "medical-grade streptomycin sulfate" (injectable) is: dilute each vial in 3 kg of water to soak the pot or water the plants. This method also works well! It thoroughly sterilizes thegrowingmedium. This method is used 3-5 times throughout the entireorchidgrowing process. Some orchid friends ask in confusion: "Doesn't this kill all the beneficial fungi or bacteria?" Not at all. After each use, in my watering management, I add a little bacterial fertilizer to supplement the insufficient beneficial bacteria in thegrowingmedium. In the process of disease prevention and pest control, using the right medication for the right problem is most important. We already know that "soft rotdisease" is a bacterial disease, different from fungal diseases, and what's more, we don't even know the suitable living environment for "soft rot" (what the pH value is - I haven't been able to find out so far). For this reason, I paid extra attention and added the important step of using "streptomycin" during the orchidflower'sgrowing season. In summary, through one year of using "streptomycin", the results are good! Side effects are minimal, and no phytotoxicity occurred when used within the stated range. Interested orchid friends might as well give it a try, and evaluate it after getting a feel for it. Below is a brief introduction to "agricultural streptomycin": Agricultural Streptomycin: Instructions for Use For tobacco wildfire disease and angular leaf spot, Chinese herbal medicine anthracnose, citrus canker, rice bacterial leaf blight, cucumber downy mildew, angular leaf spot, Chinese cabbage soft rot, etc. Method of use: 1.
