Understanding of spraying (misting) orchids
Let me share a little of myorchid growingexperience with everyone; please correct me where I am wrong.
In the pastwhen growing orchids, whenever I saw the sphagnum moss on the pot surface had dried out, I always loved to grab a spray bottle and spray and spray and spray; I sprayed for many years, and finally gained some experience from it.
Do not spray in the morning or at noon, especially not at noon when the temperature is high. The painful lesson is that black spots appear on the leaf surface, and if the sphagnum moss covers theorchidroot base, then the roots will also have black spots.
The best time to spray is just before dark. Spray an appropriate amount of water on the roots, leaf surfaces and pot surface of theorchid, giving it a moist feeling. 'After fresh rain in the empty mountains,' do all plants put out new green? The next morning you will find the small buds have grown a section taller; this way you can avoid stalled buds. Especially in spring, when the wind is high and things are dry, spraying is even more needed in the evening; on rainy days and in autumn when the air is damp, handle it as appropriate.
This method is suitable for balconies and rooftopsfor growing orchidsand also for outdoorcultivation.
