How to Identify and Control Phyllostictina Leaf Spot
Phyllostictina Leaf Spot
The pathogen of this disease is Phyllostictina citracarPa. At first glance, its symptoms resemble a mosaic caused by a virus, but careful examination reveals black spots scattered across the entire diseased area; these are the fruiting bodies of the pathogenic fungus. If there is little certainty about the pathogen, wipe the diseased part of the leaf with a damp cloth, and the fungal spores will be released, appearing as a dark, attractive powder. (Liu Zhongjian)
