Changes in the National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index on December 30, 2015

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on December 30 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 201.57, down 0.63 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 202.72, down 0.69 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 22.66 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 175.99), up 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef 54.04 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 46.41 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 8.02 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.69 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 4.15 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 226.47), up 0.2% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 4.99 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from yesterday;

The average price of crucian carp was 14.32 yuan/kg, down 1.5% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.11 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.26 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.88 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties of fresh and live agricultural products in domestic wholesale markets under key monitoring, the top five in price increase compared with yesterday were: cucumber, oyster mushroom, banana, Chinese cabbage and pineapple, with increases of 4.2%, 4.2%, 3.4%, 3.3% and 2.5% respectively; the top five in price decrease were: Ya pear, ginger, lotus root, large yellow croaker and crucian carp, with decreases of 3.3%, 2.6%, 2.3%, 2.1% and 1.5% respectively.
